No reason. i kinda like to think of this as a zombie who just strolled into an olan mills for a quick picture and a snack.

hi folks.

For this image i was just in the mood for mindless destruction. It's just your atypical giant beast running around town destroying a city. Overall it was alot of fun and i was suprised how easily the city came together. On a side note, keep in mind this file is a whole lot larger in higher rez, the file is 20 inches by 11 inches at 300 dpi...so there are details upon details that are compressed in this image. as soon as i can figure out how to post closeups on this i will.

also, for optimum viewing pleasure. please listen to "mogwai- auto rock...

as usual no pixels were harmed in the making of and all comments and crits are always appreciated.

I've finally had a good enough lull in deadlines to finish this piece off....
I've had this idea in my head ever since reading Eric Haney's
Inside Delta Force. My concept was just a group of Delta soldiers in an arctic station and running into a rogue group of SEALS....
and there you have it.
as usual comments and crits are welcome...
oh yeah. before i forget. this was all done in photoshop with alittle help from google sketchup for a rough 3d guides for the hallway.

Frank's Wild Years

I've always been fascinated by old planes, mostly the corsair.
the image was created with google's sketchup ( for the background). i'd been wanting to try the program out and built several makeshift buildings to make sure my perspective was right....then photoshopped over them....the corsair itself was painted in photoshop using various images as scrap.
that's pretty much it.

Order to Charge.

in my head when i started this i tried to picture the last thing a poor indoctrinated farmer would ever want to see on a battlefield. A line of bloodthirsty soldiers with no home of there own with no regard for your life.

I would also like to note that, yes, i could have tightend the image up overall, but personally i enjoy artwork that has in itself a raw unfinished feeling.

Total amount of time spent on this image is about 12 hours or so. Again, all with custom photoshop brushes and the help of my cat who refuses to get off my wacom.
